Can I Return or Exchange Any Hair?
All sales are final. Due to the nature of hair products and hygiene standards, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please make sure to double-check your order before purchasing. If you have any questions about texture, length, or color, feel free to contact us before placing your order.
My package hasn’t arrived or was lost in transit. What should I do?
If your package hasn’t arrived, please contact us immediately so we can help track your order.
If the package is confirmed lost during transit via the courier, we will assist you with next steps based on the courier’s investigation.
My package was stolen, what should I do?
If your package was stolen after delivery, please contact the courier to file a theft claim.
We can also assist by providing any tracking and delivery information needed for the investigation. Please note that once a package is marked delivered, we are not responsible for theft or missing items.
Raw vs Virgin
What’s the difference between Virgin Hair and Raw Hair?
Virgin Hair:
Virgin hair can be chemically altered and processed to achieve a uniform look.
At PGB, our virgin hair isn’t chemically processed. We only use a steaming process to create textures like Body Wave, Burmese Curly, Deep Wave, and more.
Maintenance: Virgin hair is low maintenance and easy to style. It holds curl and texture well, and can be washed, conditioned, and styled just like your natural hair.
Longevity: With proper care, virgin hair can last 1+ years, depending on how often it’s worn and maintained.
Raw Hair:
Raw hair is 100% unprocessed hair that comes from a single donor. It has limited textures, typically including a slight wave, curl, or straight.
Maintenance: Raw hair requires more attention and upkeep. Since it is completely unprocessed, it needs gentle handling, proper moisture, and consistent care to maintain its natural texture. You may need to use stronger moisturizing products, avoid heavy heat styling, and detangle carefully to prevent tangling.
Longevity: Raw hair is known for its durability and can last 3+ years with proper care. Because it is unprocessed, it maintains strength and thickness longer than most processed hair.
Why is Raw Hair Priced Higher?
Raw hair is higher priced because it is 100% unprocessed, single-donor hair that retains its natural strength, thickness, and cuticle alignment. It’s rarer and harder to source, and because it’s untouched, it typically lasts longer and maintains its natural texture better than processed hair.
How Do I Decide Which Hair To Get?
If you want low-maintenance hair that holds texture well and is easier to style, virgin hair is a great choice. It’s ideal for everyday wear and comes in a variety of textures.
If you want the highest-quality, most natural-looking hair and don’t mind a bit more upkeep, raw hair is the best option. It’s unprocessed, thicker, and can last longer with proper care.
